The Governor of Shabwa, Awad Muhand bin Al-Wazir, confirmed on Saturday evening, January 3, 2026, that the governorate is safe, stable and calm.

Al-Awlaki stressed that there is cooperation between local authorities and the “Homeland Shield” forces, explaining that there are agreements with the Presidential Command Council in this regard, according to what was reported by the Saudi channel “Al-Hadath”.

He described the Riyadh Conference for Southern Dialogue as an opportunity for cooperation and work to save the south, stressing that all southern governorates are looking forward to the conference to reach a just solution to the southern issue.
